Our Commitment to Accessibility
At Camp DeForest, we believe everyone deserves the joy of exploring nature, relaxing with family, and making lifelong memories — without barriers. We’re committed to making our website, facilities, and guest experience as accessible as possible for guests of all abilities, including those with visual, hearing, cognitive, and mobility-related needs.
We follow accepted accessibility guidelines and continually work to improve inclusivity across our digital and physical environments. We’ve designed this accessibility statement to share what we currently provide, and how you can reach us if you need assistance or have suggestions.
Physical Accessibility at Camp DeForest
Camp DeForest welcomes guests of all abilities. As required under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), we strive to provide equal access to our services and amenities, including:
Accessible routes throughout primary guest areas and common spaces.
Guest accommodations with features that support guests of all abilities.
Accessible restrooms and facilities where feasible.
Clear communication support where needed.
We continually review our property and facilities to remove barriers and improve accessibility wherever possible.
About Our Website Accessibility
We aim to make the Camp DeForest website easy to use and accessible for people with disabilities, including compatibility with screen readers and keyboard navigation, and adherence to widely recognized accessibility standards such as the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
We monitor our website and update it regularly to maintain accessibility. If you encounter any difficulties using the site or accessing online content, please let us know — we want to make it better for you.
Making Reservations for Accessible Accommodations
We offer accessible lodging options designed to meet a range of guest needs. When you book:
You may reserve accessible rooms or facilities in the same ways and at the same times as all other guests.
We describe accessible features clearly so you can decide if a particular room meets your needs.
Accessible rooms are held for guests requesting them and not rented to others once reserved.
When selecting an ADA-designated unit, if you do not have accessibility needs, please click cancel and select another unit unless it is the last unit available. If you do not meet the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements for this unit and it is not the last unit available, Camp DeForest reserves the right to change your reservation to another unit without your permission to accommodate customers with qualifying disabilities.
If you have questions about accessibility features before booking — including room layout, bathroom configurations, thresholds, or mobility access — please contact us in advance so we can assist you.
