at Camp Deforest
Take a Rest
Wellness at Camp is refreshingly uncomplicated. Whether you choose a personalized massage in the comfort and privacy of your room or cabin, or a quiet stretch with one of our complimentary Camp Yoga Kits, everything is designed to help you slow down without having to go anywhere at all. After a day spent hiking, paddling, exploring the coast—or simply lingering a little too long by the campfire—set aside some time for yourself. Silence your phone, take a deep breath, and settle in. Around here, rest hour starts whenever you’re ready.

HOW IT WORKS:
1. Choose Your Treatment: Tell us which massage you would prefer, along with your first and second choices of appointment time.
2. Watch for Confirmation: Our Rangers will match your request with an available Maine-licensed massage therapist. Your appointment is reserved only after Camp DeForest sends written confirmation.
3. Settle In: Your therapist will arrive approximately 15 minutes before the appointment with a professional massage table, clean linens, and treatment supplies.
4. Relax: The therapist will complete a brief private consultation, tailor the treatment to you, and take care of the rest.
MASSAGE MENU
After a day on the trail—or a particularly demanding afternoon by the campfire—there is no need to go anywhere at all.
A Maine-licensed massage therapist will bring a professional massage table, fresh linens, and everything needed for a private treatment in the comfort of your Camp DeForest room or cabin.
Each in-room massage is tailored to your preferred pressure and areas of focus. Your therapist will arrive approximately 15 minutes before the appointment to set up and complete a brief, private consultation.
All you need to do is clear a little time, silence your phone, and settle in. We’ll come to you.
FOR A FRIEND?
An in-room massage makes a thoughtful addition to a honeymoon, anniversary, birthday, retreat, or simply a much-needed night away.
You may request and pay for a massage for another registered Camp DeForest guest. Because the therapist will be entering the recipient’s room, the appointment cannot be a completely unannounced surprise: the recipient must know about the proposed visit, agree to be contacted, confirm the appointment, and personally complete the therapist’s health consultation, informed consent, and waiver before treatment begins.
The purchaser may select the service and authorize payment but cannot provide health information or consent to massage on the recipient’s behalf.
Spa and wellness services are subject to availability and our booking, cancellation, health, conduct, third-party booking, and equipment-use requirements. Please review the Spa & Wellness Terms and Policies before requesting a massage or borrowing a yoga kit.
