Reserve Your Own Campfire 

JOIN IN THE FUN, EVEN IF YOU AREN’T STAYING AT CAMP *

That unmistakable crackle. The smell of pine smoke drifting through the air. The way stories sound better and marshmallows taste sweeter when they’re toasted over open flame.

Not staying with us at Camp DeForest, but still want to join in the fun? Now you can reserve your very own private campfire at Camp DeForest, available in 1.5 hour time slots — perfect for families, couples, or anyone craving a little fireside nostalgia.

We’ll set it all up for you:

  • A dedicated fire ring

  • A hearty stack of firewood

  • S'mores roasting sticks

  • Optional enamel kettle and campfire tripod for fireside cocoa or tea or roasting

We'll even start the fire for you — just bring your best ghost story and a healthy respect for sticky fingers.

*First come, first serve use of campfire sites is already included for guests staying at Camp DeForest!

How It Works

  • Campfire slots are 90 minutes, with limited availability each evening.

  • Reservations must be made in advance using the booking form below and are $40 for a group of five.

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email with all the details.

  • Feel free to bring your own s’mores supplies, songbooks, or acoustic guitar (sorry, no amps — the loons are sleeping).

  • Only alcohol purchased at Camp DeForest may be consumed onsite!

  • Please arrive on time! We can’t extend your slot if you’re late.

  • Parking is provided free onsite (but try and carpool as parking is limited

Cancellations & Refunds

Because each site is prepped just for you (and firewood doesn’t un-stack itself), all campfire bookings are final. No refunds, no reschedules, no exceptions.

We recommend checking the forecast, embracing spontaneity, and packing a flannel — just in case.
