Your Guide To Road-Tripping Down The Coast Of Maine

FORBES

“Rather than start in Portland, which is on the southern part of Maine’s coast, I spent a few hours driving north from Boston to Lincolnville, then leisurely cruised my way back down over the next few days. I made three important stops during this long drive: first for the lemon-herb chicken salad toast at LB. Kitchen in Portland, second for a fun puzzle at Midcoast Creative Studio in Wiscasset and third for a glass of natural wine inside the rustic-chic barn at Oyster River Winegrowers in Warren. From there, it was only a short drive to Camp DeForest, my home base for the next two nights. Camp DeForest is akin to an adult summer camp, complete with lawn games, firepits, kayaks, retro-style rooms and a masterfully curated camp store.”
